NOTICE OF PAVING OPERATIONS/TRAVEL IMPACTS – 44TH AVENUE E./HIGHLAND LINKS STREET 

On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the contractor will be performing paving operations at the intersection of 44^th Avenue E. and Highland Links Street (at the northern entrance/exit of the Rosedale community). To accommodate this work, the inside lane of 44^th Avenue E. will be closed from Highland Links Street to Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, with a single lane to be maintained for traffic. To avoid potential delays, Rosedale residents and visitors should use the community’s southern entrance/exit until this work is completed. 

Notice of Construction

During the week of July 14, 2025, the contractor will be performing roadway striping on 44th Avenue East, at the northern/back access of The Ridge at Crossing Creek community. The temporary median opening in this area will be closed and travelers exiting the community from Ridgelake Circle must make a right turn and travel east on 44th Avenue East, making a U-turn in the turnaround area to travel west on 44th Avenue East. Please note: 44th Avenue East will not be open to traffic in this area, and no traffic will be allowed beyond the U-turn lane in the work zone. (See below for work location and traffic impacts.)

Construction Notice

Partial lane closures remain in effect on northbound and southbound I-75 to accommodate painting of the new bridge over I-75. This work and associated lane closures will be in effect during daytime and nighttime hours.  

Extensive paving and striping operations are underway in and around the intersection of 44^th Avenue East and Ridge Lake Circle (north entrance to The Ridge at Crossing Creek community).
